A Broome County Grand Jury made two notable indictment s in the last few days. The Grand Jury has indicted 20-year-old Michael Roque for the murder of Binghamton University student Joao Souza. Roque, who is also a BU student, stabbed Souza to death in April. He has entered a not guilty plea.

On Friday, the Grand Jury indicted 23-year-old Travon Sanders of Brooklyn in the shooting on Susquehanna Street on Easter Sunday. The victim was shot several times, while he sat in his car. Sanders was indicted for felon y Attempted Murder, Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon. The victim received serious injuries.
