ACBC Hope Campaign
The Addiction Center of Broome County, Inc. has served individuals with substance use disorders for nearly 50 years. Addiction is affecting the entire community and the need for treatment has increased dramatically in recent years.
ACBC’s services include assessment, referral to inpatient or outpatient treatment, health home care management, and medication assisted treatment in Broome County. We have expanded our reach the past two years to include Tioga, Tompkins and Chenango Counties. ACBC has programs where we go out into high-risk areas in all 4 counties and help individuals wherever they may live. We offer services for adolescents, which include individual therapy, group therapy and the Compass Academy in cooperation with Broome Tioga BOCES.
In addition, we have opened a second location in Endicott to further our mission: The Center for Addiction and Trauma Recovery.
ACBC has started the Hope Campaign to help individuals in early recovery. Many of the individuals that we serve have extremely limited resources and are attempting to re-build their lives. Most of our clients are starting out with nothing. Often individuals who begin treatment need assistance with transportation, food, clothing, toiletries, or bedding.
With your contribution, we will be able to provide added support and assistance to patients’ needs not covered by insurance. your generosity and support are an encouraging reminder of why we started this campaign: to help individuals and families suffering from substance use disorders.
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Carmela Pirich, LCSW, MBA
Executive Director
