Tioga Arts Council and Cloud Croft Studios is excited to announce its second juried regional art exhibition to benefit the Tioga County Anti-Hunger Task Force and TAC. The exhibition, Everyday Life, Every Day Art, will be held until October 5 at Cloud Croft Studios, 1003 Sanford Road, Owego. It will be open Wednesdays through Sundays from 2 to 5pm, featuring work from artists within a 100-mile radius of Owego, including 25 counties in New York and Pennsylvania. For every artwork sold, 70 percent will benefit the artist and 30 percent will be split between the Anti-Hunger Task Force and TAC.
Cloud Croft Studios – Nestled in the hills five miles south of Owego, Cloud Croft Studios consists of barn studio spaces and 90 acres of scenic property. The barn provides several spaces for artists to work and to give classes, and the property has miles of trails and several ponds. Together they provide an opportunity for an artist to create an art experience to remember.
Tioga Arts Council – The Tioga Arts Council enriches the cultural lives of residents and visitors by initiating and facilitating creative opportunities and collaborations. Through exhibitions, performances, education and cultural experiences, the Tioga Arts Council provides a central platform for a creative community.
Tioga County Anti-Hunger Task Force – The Tioga County Anti-Hunger Task Force was formed in October 2015 as a sub committee of the Tioga County Hunger Coalition. Its purpose is to develop strategies to better serve food-insecure populations in Tioga County and actively reduce hunger by bringing together diverse stakeholders while promoting collaboration, education, awareness, and advocacy.
The objective of Everyday Life, Every Day Art is to demonstrate that when the arts thrive, the community thrives. The model aims to promote
exceptional art in a unique and inviting venue, and support two great community agencies through this unique program model. Everyday Life, Every Day Art allows artists to show how they find the extraordinary in the ordinary of their lives.
