If you haven’t been to the Coburn Free Library lately, check out these upcoming events for November. All events can be found at coburnfreelibrary.org or at Coburn Free Library on Facebook.
***The library will be closed November 24-25.***
The library’s annual Book Tree Food Drive has returned to the main level of the library. In collaboration with the Family Reading Partnership, bring a food donation to help support local food banks and take a book as a thank you as we help to feed local families this holiday season! Here are some suggestions on items to donate now through December 16: canned vegetables, cake mixes, canned pumpkin, boxed dinners (pasta, stuffing, rice,) canned soup, rice, beans, canned fruit, peanut butter, canned milk, canned meats (tuna, chicken,) or any other non-perishable food with a current sell-by date.
Every Tuesday from 2:00pm to 3:00pm is Tech Support Tuesdays. Registartion is required. One on one support is provided for: computer/laptop questions, help downloading to your Kindle, smart phone issues, and other technology queries. Patrons ages 65+ will receive priority and will automatically move to the front of the queue. Best of all…It’s FREE!
Every Wednesday from 10:15am to 10:45am is Storytime with Mrs. G. In story time, we have a blast. Learning facts about weekly themes rolls right into engaging stories and picture books. We sing. We move. We rhyme. We craft. Did you know each and every story time helps build important skills for school? What’s more, we have adventures. We check out our first library books. We make new friends. We share and laugh and play. Join this fun and educational group where all ages are welcome. Yes, babies and toddlers too! Can’t sit still? No problem! We are engaging for all ages.
