For the 13th consecutive year, the Tioga County Agricultural Resource Group presents “Sundaes at the Farm” on Sunday, July 21 from noon to 3 p.m. at Stronghaven Dairy Farm on Route 17C in Barton. A different farm in Tioga County hosts the free event each summer.

As in past years, there will be self-guided barn tours with the farmers on hand to answer questions, baby calves and other farm animals, educational displays, the 4-H food booth and live music. FREE ICE CREAM SUNDAES with toppings made from local ingredients will be served by the Tioga County Dairy Princess.

Every year, hundreds of residents and visitors travel the country roads of Tioga County to attend “Sundaes at the Farm,” which is hosted by a different farm every year, to celebrate the agricultural roots of Tioga County.

Stronghaven Dairy Farm is a working farm, so attendees should wear proper footwear. Attendees are reminded if they have visited or own a farm, boot washing stations will be available to assist with biosecurity precautions. Handicap access is limited.
