President Joe Biden dropped his White House bid over the weekend while in Delaware recovering from COVID-19.
The 81-year-old endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the job and said he’d plan to serve out the remainder of his term in off. But since Sunday’s announcement, Biden has maintained a low profile.
Biden has no public events today, according to the White House. He’s also been quiet on social media.
Republicans have been quick to call on Biden to resign as Commander in Chief if he is unable to campaign for the job.
On Monday, the White House released a statement from Biden on climate pollution reduction grants.
The President’s Facebook page has a banner that reads “Harris for President” followed by a campaign website.
