Binghamton Pair Arrested a Second Time on Drug and Weapons Charges

On Monday, the Broome County Special Investigations Unit and Binghamton Police Officers arrested Thomas Morton, 34, and Valerie Thompson, 35, both of Binghamton.
A Search Warrant revealed a quantity of marihuana, a digital scale, packaging material and a loaded .357 revolver that had a defaced serial number.
Both Morton and Thompson were charged with felony weapon possession and drug paraphernalia.
Morton and Thompson were remanded to the Broome County Jail.
Note that on March 29th, 2010 a Search Warrant was executed at the same address.
Narcotics and a loaded handgun were recovered during that search.
Both Morton and Thompson were arrested in connection with that investigation.
