On May 3, 2019 at approximately 6:30 PM, the Endicott Police Department responded to a dispute at 220 Odell Avenue in the Village of Endicott. An investigation into the incident revealed two individuals involved in a domestic relationship were involved in a physical argument where the perpetrator was brandishing a knife, when several other subjects responded to the residence to assist the victim. A fight ensued and three subjects sustained knife wounds. Two of the wounded were transported to local hospitals and released on the same day. The victim of the domestic incident was also wounded and treated on-scene by emergency medical staff.
As a result of the altercation, Christopher L. Camacho, age 31, of Endicott, has been
charged with two (2) counts of Assault in the 2nd degree, a class D Felony. Camacho
was one of the individuals treated at a local hospital.
Also charged during the investigation was Jahlil C. Ellis, age 26, of Endicott, who was
wanted on an arrest warrant for Criminal Mischief.
Christopher L. Camacho was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court at the
Broome County jail on $500 cash/$1000 bond. Jahlil Ellis was also arraigned and
released on his own recognizance.
