Broome-Endicott Swat Team executed a narcotics search warrant Friday for the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force at 201 Prospect St., Endicott. Tashiba L. Waddell, 39, a resident of an apartment at the address, was arrested following the execution of the warrant. Task force investigators located crack cocaine, methamphetamine and a metal knuckle knife in the apartment. Waddell was also charged with previously selling crack cocaine in Binghamton.
Waddell was faces with five counts of felony drug charges:
- Two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, felonies
- Three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, felonies
- Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, misdemeanor
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, misdemeanor
The task force was also assisted on scene by marked Endicott Police Department and Broome County Sheriff’s Office patrol units.
Waddell was arraigned in Binghamton Court on Friday and was remanded to the Broome County Sheriff’s Correctional Facility without bail.
