47-year-old Peter C. Ruff has entered a guilty plea last week to a five-count indictment against him for a drug arrest in Endwell. Ruff had been charged with three counts of felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and two misdemeanors. According to the indictment, Ruff knowingly and unlawfully possessed cocaine, with intent to sell. Ruff was arrested by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force in August and was indicted by a Grand Jury on August 22nd. The District Attorney’s Office will argue for the maximum sentence of eight years in prison, when Ruff is sentenced in January.
