Tensions ran high last night’s Endicott Village Board meeting. Dozens of people spoke out about the mayor’s idea to cut the Village’s Emergency Medical Service.  The board passed a resolution stating that any action regarding the subject of overhauling the EMS services must be approved by the entire board, rather than just the mayor. While a number of people voiced their concerns about the safety and well-being of the community, the mayor says the Village must find a solution to the costly EMS situation.  The mayor and the village board will begin looking into alternative solutions.
