Congratulations to U-E Tiger Football star Devon Hogan, who signed a National Letter of Intent to play football for the Central Connecticut State University Blue Devils.
The CCSU Blue Devils, NCAA Division I FCS program, play in the Northeast Conference, competing in 18 NCAA Division I varsity sports.
As a standout athlete, Devon was selected to play in the Section 4 Ernie Davis All-Star Game, was named to the Section IV, Division 1 All Star-Team, and was voted the 2017 U-E Football Most Valuable Player, as voted on by the players.
He began his varsity career by starting for the Tigers as a sophomore quarterback.
His career numbers are impressive:
Passing for 949 yards with 8 touchdowns and rushing for 1963 yards with 28 touchdowns.
Devon is currently ranked fourth for the most rushing yards in a single season with 1364 yards and currently ranked seventh for the most rushing yards in a career with 1963 yards.
Devon holds two Union-Endicott Tiger Football records: most points scored in a single season with 150 points and tied for most points scored in a single game with 30 points.
