DeSisti Preliminary Hearing Friday

The Waverly man who is accused of the 2006 murders of an Athens couple will be in court this week for a preliminary hearing.
73-year-old John DeSisti is accused of murdering his cousin, Carol Keefe, and her husband, David, a prominent lawyer, with a shotgun in 2006. He was arrested last week.
Investigators believe the murders were the result of a long-standing property dispute between DeSisti and Carol Keefe.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11am Friday.
DeSisti remains in the Bradford County Jail without bail. He has hired Philadelphia-area lawyer Arthur Donato, Jr. to handle his defense.
