Newly appointed Tioga County District 5 Legislator Andrew Aronstam won the Republican primary for the seat on Tuesday.
Aronstam was sworn in earlier this month to replace Dennis Mullen, who took over as director of the Tioga County Veterans Service Agency.
After his win on Tuesday, Aronstam will now run unopposed in the general election.
