Arrest Made In Connection With Elmira Homicide

Elmira Police make an arrest in connection to Sunday’s homicide in the city. Louis Duffy, 20, of Horseheads has been arrested and charged with second degree murder.
Officers say Clinton “Billy” Lewis, 53, was found with a gunshot wound around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at 702 North Main Street. He was taken to the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
Police say Lewis and Duffy were acquaintances. Duffy was arraigned in Elmira City Court and is being held in the Chemung County Jail without bail.
