SAYRE
Sayre Borough police Monday morning arrested a man on multiple drug counts. Taken into custody was 37-year-old Thomas Anderson of Ulster. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was also charged with public drunkenness. Arraigned in court, Anderson was remanded to Bradford County jail on $35,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled.
ATHENS
An Athens man was committed to Bradford County kail this Monday. Borough police said they arrested 37-year-old Branden Westbrook. He was charged with simple assault and harassment with physical contact. Arraigned just after midnight, a judge set bail at $15,000. Westbrook will return to court next week
for May 28.
