New York State Police investigated a school bus accident between a Schoharie Central School bus and a bald eagle. The accident occurred on Route 88 in the Town of Duanesburg on Monday, when the bald eagle flew into the path of the bus, striking the windshield and shattering
it. There were no injuries on the bus, but the bald eagle suffered fatal injuries.
