March is National Women’s History month and the Baseball Hall of Fame is saluting women who have contributed to baseball’s history with an event at the museum tomorrow. Brad Horn who is the Senior Director of Communication and Education at the Hall of Fame says that legacy is always important in preserving those great memories.

There are events scheduled starting at 11 am with Professor and journalist Martha Ackmann will discuss her book, “Curveball: The Remarkable Story of Toni Stone, the First Woman to Play Professional Baseball in the Negro League.” There will also be an up-close look at some of the many artifacts related to women and baseball. And lastly there will be a video showing a round table discussion on the history of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League, made famous in the move “A League of Their Own”. The Hall of Fame and Museum will open at 9 AM and close at 5 PM. The last presentation tomorrow will begin at 3 PM.
