BATH — A Bath man is in police custody after the body of a woman was found in a Super 8 motel in Bath on Thursday, Jan. 18.
According to police, 49-year-old Richard Seager of Bath has been charged with criminally negligent homicide, a Class E felony.
After the body of a 49-year-old woman was found, an investigation revealed the death was suspicious. After interviewing witnesses and continuing to investigate, police arrested Seager on Friday, January 19.
The suspect was remanded to the Steuben County Jail.
