Emergency crews are working to control a natural gas well spill in Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
Thousands of gallons of hydrofracking water spilled out of a well in Leroy Township when operators lost control of the well late Tuesday night.
The well belongs to the Chesapeake Energy Corporation and is located on top of a mountain.
Seven families have been evacuated as a precautionary measure since they all live downstream of the well.
Officials say some of the spilled water has reached a nearby stream, but say there are no harmful affects at this point.
They say no one was hurt and there was no natural gas emissions during the incident.
The biggest concern is for fields and fish because of all the salt in the water.
Emergency officials say the good news is that all of the rain in the last 24 hours has helped dilute the waste water.
