The Broome County Firefighters’ Association handed out their annual William Grace “Firefighter of the Year” Award at their March meeting held at the Harpursville fire station March 4th.
Harpursville Chief Jeff Buckler was given the award for his outstanding dedicated service to his fire department.
This award is given annually to firefighter who performs above and beyond what is expected.
It can be given for heroics or for a long-term commitment and dedication to the fire service.
