Twenty-four Red Cross Volunteers from Central New York are headed to Texas and Louisiana to assist with Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts. They will be providing relief supplies, food, water, cleanup kits as well as going to shelters and helping them transport supplies. Each volunteer is expected to be in Texas or Louisiana for about two weeks before returning home. More volunteers are expected to depart New York in the coming days.
