Cornell Student Dies in Swimming Accident in Ithaca

A Cornell University student has died after a swimming accident in the Fall Creek Gorge.
Emergency crews were called to the gorge, near Ithaca Falls, at about seven o’clock Monday night.
When they arrived, they found a group of swimmers performing CPR on the 22-year-old.
Responders continued C-P-R, but were unable to revive him.
Police have not yet released the name of the victim and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
