A head-on collision in the Town of Cayuta took the life of a 68 year old woman from Pennsylvania.
The accident occurred on Route 13 near Hartford Road in the Town of Cayuta at about 1PM Monday.
A northbound Volkswagen Jetta, driven by a 26 year old woman from South Carolina struck a southbound Toyota SUV driven by the Pennsylvania woman.
The 68-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Jetta is in critical condition.
