Fire has destroyed a home at 142 Crocker Hill Road, in the Town of Fenton late Monday afternoon.
Heavy flames were visible coming through the roof, and the first floor was reported to have collapsed into the basement.
The homeowner was able to evacuate without injury.
Multiple fire companies were at the scene, including Hillcrest, Port Dickinson, Chenango Bridge, Chenango and Five Mile Point.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
