Two Tioga County men were indicted on federal child pornography charges this week.
46-year-old Ronald Pierce of Apalachin and 42-year-old Larry Cole have been charged in separate cases.
Both men are accused of taking sexually explicit pictures of minors and putting the images on their computers. They have both admitted to their crimes, according to court documents.
Pierce allegedly told investigators that he took illegal photos and videos of two young boys and also sexually abused one of them.
Cole allegedly admitted to collecting and trading child porn, as well as sexually abusing several minors.
Both Pierce and Cole remain in federal custody. Court dates have not been announced.
If convicted, both Pierce and Cole could face anywhere from 15 to 40 years in federal prison.
