Tioga County Legislators approved the proposed 2017 Tioga County budget during a meeting last night. Next year’s budget includes a zero percent county-wide tax increase. The budget will also remain under the New York State tax cap, as well as, decrease general fund expenditures.
Legislators also approved an inter-municipal agreement with Chemung County to add a C-Tran bus stop at Tioga Downs during last night’s meeting.
