Broome County Executive Debbie Preston and Binghamton City Mayor Rich David are partnering with the American Red Cross to hold a blood drive in memory of the lives lost during the September 11th terrorist attacks. Preston says, quote “There is no better way to honor the victims and first responders of 9/11 than by giving the gift of life.”
The Blood drive will be held next Thursday, September 8th, from 11:30am until 6:30pm at the Holiday Inn on Hawley Street in Binghamton. If you can’t make the blood drive but would still like to donate, you can do so by visiting RedCrossBlood.org, or calling 1-800-Red-Cross.
