Senator Fred Akshar will be in attendance of the free “Shed the Meds” event on Saturday, July 9th from 10am until 1pm at the Owego Fire Department Training Center, at 191 McMaster St., in Owego. You can drop you’re your unused or unwanted prescription drugs for free with no questions asked.
There will be free Narcan training from 9-10am the same day, however, space is limited for the Narcan training, so you are asked to sign up at Akshar.NYSenate.gov.
