A historic Delaware County church has been the victim of arson.
31-year-old Michael Allen has been accused of setting the fire that destroyed the First Baptist Church of Walton.
Fire destroyed the building around 3am Tuesday. The adjacent parsonage was also destroyed while two nearby homes suffered heat damage.
Church members say they are not sure what they will do, but they are already looking for a new home.
Allen was arraigned on the arson charge and sent to the Delaware County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail.
