(Owego, NY) – Tioga County Advocacy Support And Prevention (ASAP) Coalition is inviting Tioga County residents and businesses to join us on Wednesday, August 31, at 6:00pm in Draper Park for our Annual Overdose Awareness Vigil.
Join us during this Vigil as we hold space for those whose lives are deeply affected by substance misuse, as well as for all who’ve lost loved ones to overdose. All are invited and welcome.
We will have 11 local agencies tabling this event providing lifesaving overdose prevention resources as well as plenty of speakers providing their stories and perspectives on the overdose epidemic. We will have purple flags to memorialize those we have lost to overdose.
