Ashley Carnevale Sentenced in 2009 Kirkwood Murder

Ashley Carnevale, 23 of Kirkwood has been sentenced in Broome County Court to 15 years to life for her role in the 2009 murder of Jean Clark.
Carnevale was convicted in a non jury trial in December on second degree murder, assault, and attempted robbery charges.
Carnevale was convicted of aiding and abetting her husband and co-defendant Anthony Carnevale III, 23, also of Kirkwood in the shooting death of Clark and assault of Ethan Button during the course of an attempted robbery at Button’s residence in the Town of Kirkwood.
Anthony Carnevale III pleaded guilty in October 2009 to Murder in the Second Degree and Attempted Murder in the Second Degree in satisfaction of the indictment.
He was sentenced to concurrent sentences of twenty-five years to life and twenty-five years with five years post-release supervision.
