The Binghamton Mets are now under new ownership, but the team will continue to play at NYSEG Stadium in Binghamton. The Double-A baseball team is affiliated with the New York Mets, and has been based in Binghamton for the past 24 years. The Binghamton Mets had been under the ownership of the Binghamton Mets Baseball Club for the past two decades. The team will now be owned and operated by Evans Street Baseball Club, under the leadership of John Hughes. The B-Mets have a contract with the New York Mets through the year 2020, and have leased NYSEG Stadium through 2022.
