People hit the pavement in Binghamton Sunday afternoon, all running for the same cause.
The 1st annual Run for Life 5K brought out nearly 100 people, promoting organ donation.
Runners and walkers lined up near Seton Catholic High School.
Many of them have pledged to give their organs away if they were to lose their own lives, all with the hope of keeping someone else’s life going.
And not only did the 5-K support this cause, it’s inspired others to keep running.
The purpose of the run was to raise awareness about organ donation.
To become an organ donor, you can go to cdtny.org.
It is estimated that one donor can save up to fifty lives.
