Bradford County leaders have unveiled their proposed budget for 2011.
The $58.7 million spending plan includes no change in the county’s property tax rate, despite containing an extra $3.7 million for the replacement of three bridges. State and federal funds will cover most of the cost.
The budget does not cut any services or any positions, although county lawmakers say they are considering reorganizing some of the positions in their departments.
The proposed budget is available for review on the county’s website, www.bradfordcountypa.org. County commissioners are expected to adopt the budget at their meeting on Dec. 21.
If approved as is, the budget would keep the Bradford County property tax rate at 11.08 mils.
