A Bradford County murder suspect waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Friday.
55-year-old Robert Gorman is accused of fatally stabbing his ailing brother in 2007. Robert was the primary care provider for his brother, Timothy, but was carrying on a relationship with his sister-in-law at the time, according to police. The two told police that Timothy committed suicide, but an investigation found that was not possible.
Robert Gorman remains in the Bradford County Jail. He will be back in court next month.
Teresa Gorman, Timothy’s widow, has waived her formal arraignment and is free after posting bail. She has pled not guilty to the charges she faces.
