Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda have announced that 200 customers at two Bradford County banks have had their debit card information compromised. Customers at the PS Bank at 76 Church Street in Wyalusing and the Community Bank at 426 State Street, also in Wyalsuing, were impacted by the security breach. The victims’ debit card information was copied and used to purchase merchandise across the country between February 15th and March 12th. The stolen information was used at a number of stores including Apple stores, Walgreens, Walmart, among several others, with purchases ranging from Pennsylvania to Texas and Oklahoma, and even parts of Canada. State Police are continuing their investigation.
