A man is accused of stealing a number of rifles from a safe in his father’s home in Monroe Township in Bradford County. 23-year-old Caleb Chilson allegedly stole seven rifles and $1,300 from the safe. The cash stolen from the safe belongs to Caleb’s stepmother, Crystal Chilson, and then guns belong to his father’s friend, David Bouse. Chilson is accused of selling the guns to several local gun shops for just over $1,000. He is now facing eight counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition and three counts of theft by deception.
