A Black Knight Strong bank account has been set up to benefit the families impacted by last week’s fatal crash involving a Towanda Area School District vehicle.

A 9-year-old boy and 66-year-old driver Ronald Wickwire were killed in the accident, which occurred on Route 6 in Sullivan Township on Tuesday, April 29.

Wickwire was driving the school vehicle when he entered the westbound lane for an unknown reason and struck a tractor trailer.

A 12-year-old boy and a 6-year-old boy were seriously injured in the accident. They are currently listed in stable condition.

The Black Knight Strong account has been opened at C&N Bank branches in Bradford County. Checks can be made payable to the Towanda ASD Education foundation with Black Knight Strong in the memo. Donations can also be made online here or on the Black Knight Strong Facebook page.

The money will go to the families of the two people killed in the crash as well as the families of the two children who were injured.
