GRANVILLE TOWNSHIP — The Pennsylvania State Police have announced the arrest of a 71-year-old Bradford County man, who has been charged with the rape of a child.
According to police, Richard Gilliland is accused of touching a 7-year-old female victim. He has also been charged with involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, aggravated assault, indecent assault and corruption of minors.
Police said the victim reported that she was touched on multiple occasions from December 2022 to December 2023.
The suspect was remanded to the Bradford County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail following his arrest on January 17.
