A West Burlington man is in the Bradford County Jail for allegedly kidnapping and assaulting a female victim earlier this month.
According to Athens Borough Police, 26-year-old Damien Thomas Ramirez has been charged with felony counts of kidnapping to inflict injury and possession with intent to manufacture, and misdemeanor counts of tampering with evidence, false imprisonment, simple assault and other related charges.
Police responded to the Page Manor in Athens Borough just after 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 8 for a report of a female victim being held against her will.
The victim told police that Ramirez held her against her will and demanded sexual favors.
Ramirez was remanded to the Bradford County Jail on $500,000 bail.
