The final Downtown Sayre Summer Splash Party will take place next Friday, Aug. 23rd.
The event will feature a performance by Avalanche, which is part of the United States Army Band 10th Mountain Division.
There will also be food trucks and specials at local restaurants in downtown Sayre. The Downtown Summer Splash Party will begin at 6 p.m. on South Elmer Ave. in Sayre.
On Saturday, Aug. 24th, the 11th annual Sayre Borough End of Summer Celebration and Fireworks Display will take place at Riverfront Park.
The event will start at 3:30 p.m. and will feature local food vendors, bounce houses, live music and the area’s largest fireworks display.
