The first ever Duals on Desmond Wrestling Showcase is set to take place on Saturday on Desmond Street in downtown Sayre.
The event, which is sponsored by the Friends of Section IV Wrestling and Stephanie Rogers Robinson of Knolles Real Estate, will feature three matches showcasing wrestlers from Pennsylvania and New York.
The festivities will kick off with live music from Bad Eye Deer from 3 to 5 p.m. Wrestling will begin at 5:15 with a Pennsylvania vs. New York youth match.
A varsity girls match featuring some of the best wrestlers in the Twin Tiers will take place at 7, and the final match will feature varsity boys wrestlers from the Northern Tier League in Pennsylvania taking on standouts from Section IV in New York at 8:30.
There will also be food trucks, a 50-50 raffle and more at the Duals on Desmond Wrestling Showcase this Saturday.
