Friends and family of a Bradford County man who has been missing for over a month are asking the public for help locating him.
Shane Furman was last seen exiting a moving vehicle on June 21st on Route 6 near Shores Sisters Farm Market in Wysox.
Shane was last seen wearing pants, no shirt, shoes, and a baseball cap. He does not have a phone or wallet on him.
According to his family, Shane may not be in a lucid state due to the effects of some psychiatric medication. Before exiting the vehicle, he stated “I Have to go be with God now.” He ran into a wooded area and has not been seen since.
There is a concern for Shane’s well-being as he has not had any contact since his disappearance.
Friends and family are asking residents in the Wysox/Towanda area, even as far north as Elmira, to please check their properties, buildings, sheds, and fields.
Anyone with any information on Shane’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at: 570-265-2186.
