The Foundations Early Learning Center in Sayre will reportedly close its doors on Friday.
Guthrie officials told WBNG-TV they have learned that the owner and operator of Foundations intends to shut down the business at the end of this week.
One parent who has children at Foundations confirmed to Radigan Media that the center would be closing on Friday.
Guthrie, which owns the building, told Radigan Media last month that it was seeking a long-term solution with a non-profit organization that will own and manage child care operations in the building on North Elmer Ave. in Sayre.
It is unknown how many children are currently attending Foundations, but a large number of families will be looking for at least a short-term solution starting next week.
