The Northern Tier Veterans Group will host their 9th annual Veterans Appreciation Day this weekend.
The picnic honoring area Veterans will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday at Mountaineer Park in Monroeton.
All Veterans are invited with the first 300 receiving a free t-shirt and hat.
There will be a presentation of quilts by the Quilts of Valor Foundation.
