A New York City man was arrested in Chemung County after he allegedly stole items from the Walmart in Athens Township.
According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, 25-year-old Arah S. Paniagua has been charged with stolen property in the fourth degree, a Class E felony.
Police said the suspect stole items from Walmart in Athens Township and drove into Chemung County where he was found and arrested.
He was taken to the Chemung County Jail to await extradition back to Pennsylvania.
