One person killed in August motorcycle accident in Bradford County

One person was killed in a motorcycle accident in Monroe Township last month.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a person was driving a motorcycle west on Liberty Corners Road just before 1 p.m. on Aug. 25th when they came upon a tractor with a brush hog attached making a left turn into a driveway.

The motorcyclist laid the motorcycle down in the oncoming lane of travel in an attempt to avoid hitting the tractor, but collided with the rear wheel of the brush hog.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released.
