HARRISBURG – Twenty-eight fire and emergency medical services (EMS) companies in Bradford County were collectively awarded more than $387,000 in funding support through the 2023-24 Pennsylvania Fire Company and Emergency Medical Services Grant Program, Reps. Tina Pickett (R-Bradford/Wyoming) and Clint Owlett (R-Tioga/Bradford) announced on Tuesday.
“I am pleased to see so many Bradford County fire and EMS companies continue to take advantage of this state program which helps to ease their financial burden,” said Pickett. “The life-saving services they provide to our local communities are much appreciated.”
“Our fire and EMS personnel risk their lives daily to ensure the safety of our communities, and that mission has become more difficult as costs increase,” Owlett said. “These grants are one way the state seeks to support these vital first responders.”
