Sam’s Bar & Grill, a family-owned bar and restaurant in Sayre, is proud to announce the results of its latest community outreach and impact efforts. Thanks to the generous support of its staff and the surrounding communities, Sam’s has helped raise $47,735 in total over the past several months for the following local causes.
October 19: Cancer Benefit for Samantha Rouse – $13,404
The event helped to raise funds for Samantha’s treatment at HOPE4Cancer, a non-toxic and integrative cancer treatment center.
November 17: Cancer Benefit for Zachary Rae – $24,368
The event helped to raise funds for 25-year-old Zachary’streatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City.
November 23: Fire Fundraiser for the Fascinella Family – $3,000
The event helped to support Mike and Ann Fascinella as they recovered from a devastating house fire.
December 14:Christmas Donation for Local Family in Need – $400
Sam’s staff came together to raise money for a local family in need this holiday season and purchased gifts to make the family’s Christmas a little brighter during a challenging time. The family wishes to remain anonymous.
January 18:Cancer Benefit for Jeff Noe – $2,996
This 2nd annual event helped to raise money for Jeff Noe as he continues to fight stage 3 colon cancer.
February 22: Cancer Benefit for Cody Chandler – $3,567
The event helped to offset the cost of 24-year-old Cody’s treatment for Acinic Cell Carcinoma at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City.

Coming up:
On July 19, 2025Sam’s is once again partnering with Kids Can’t Fight Cancer Alone (KCFCA) to offer another family-friendly, fun-filled way to help support local families impacted by childhood cancer.
KCFCA aims to alleviate the burdens that families may encounter during a cancer diagnosis while offering much-needed financial and emotional support. In its inaugural year, the event hosted by Sam’s raised more than $4,000. The beneficiary of this year’s KCFCA fundraiser will be 2-year-old Kennsley Middlecamp as she continues her brave fight against cancer.
